rust around fuel flap
Ok, as everyone else is coming clean about thier rust - I might as well join in.
I have a few bubbles in the paint around the fuel flap - it seems to be one of the most commons spots. Is it likely to be repairable or is the best solution a new wing? |

Hi,
I too have some bubbles coming through on my front wings, I took it to a paint shop and they said it would be cheaper to replace the wings rather than fix. Cheers, Tim. ____________ 1983 SC Targa |

I too was once told that replacing was cheaper or would cost the same as repairing. Anyway things can be worse than you think - sorry but sometimes they are
If the car still has the original fenders you might as well replace instead of repair...In my case things didn't look that bad, but as the car was taken apart the front fenders were revealed to be in bad condition. I was glad that I had just bought 2 new ones even though the old ones looked relatively good at first. |
