Yup, I want one, but where would I put it? And there's not a lot of driver comfort and protection for the commute to work during the winter...

I love these Portractors! Very rare in Oz , though one sold for around 22k earlier this year.

This is the rarest of all; a one-off coffee plantation special ex Brazil. I like to think of this as the "Moby Dick" of P tractors. They certainly worked on the coefficient of drag on this baby!

Very cool stuff, I did not know they made tractors, its kind of interesting that Lamborghini also made farm equipment before they made sports cars. I am a big fan of car history, Porsche in particular obviously but I always find stuff like this cool.

Regards
Dave

I have a buddy in the farm implement business, who also collects tractors. these are not very rare, and are pretty easy to come by. My dad used to have a Lambo tractor, it was great fun telling folks that he had a lambo, and then showing a pic of the tractor. Rumor is that the guy who founded lambo had a ferarri and complained to enzo that his tractor transmissions were better and enzo told him to go pound salt.

if you really want a P-Tractor, pm me and I'll send you the info on my buddies business.

a favorite saying of Mr. Porsche at the time was “A simple engine for a simple farmer cannot be simple enough.”
I recall the novel auto transmission design was to ensure there were no missed shifts amongst the simpletons of the time.

These tractors are very rare in Oz, thus I have a1/43 model in the post right now!
