You're at a very interesting stage right now Olsen...have you picked your color already?

As far as my "Estée" is concerned, yes, she's done already...

And I did take her around for her maiden spin... and had an absolute blast!

I would love to see this during my visit on April. Hope I can drop by the shop and meet docdan and talk about the build and chat with the lateros and mechanics.

cnielsen, What size wheels/tires are you running? Do you still have your RSR
The RSR sold quite a while ago and resides in the UK now.

The ST wheels are 9x15's on the front and custom made 10x15's on the rear.

Porsche 911 ST.

Nice cars. I love the Porsche ST body so much.

Thanks for posting Docdan200 and Cnielsen.

Any pictures of the inside interior.? - Race dash.?

P-Car is now at paint.

Now is the time to choose the color, I could´n resist the name - Porsche Gran Prix white.

It´s out of my hands, I hope he does a good job.

Porsche 911 ST

While the car is at paint, it's time to have a look at the engine.

I would like to build the engine as close to the original as possible - Porsche 911 2.3 ST 1972 - but I have some doubt about the the right specifications on the engine.

Feel free to post inputs or beautiful pictures.

Thanks Olsen

When I started out with my "Estée" project, the erstwhile "RS-tribute" car had a stock, 3.0 CIS'd motor.
And like you, I wanted a more "period-correct" look for the engine.

So I decided to pull the trigger...

Found myself a race-prepped, MFI'd, 2.8...

Then mated it to a newly-rebuilt 915 tranny, with a Wevo internal gate shift, Wavetrac diff, and factory tranny oil cooler...

And to finish it up, hooked it up to a Hargett short-shifter...

Absolutely no regrets with these decisions...

Very very Nice - Docdan200

2.8 MFI - Sounds very fast.??

Here is what i have in mind - 2.3 ST.

Standart 2.2 case, resurface & line drill, shuffle pinned, new oil sprays, oil bypass, CaseSavers, 3.2 oliepump.
Balanced & resized 66mm counterweighted crank from 2.2 S
Pauter rods - Raceware head studs.
E BiRAL cylinder barrels bored to 85mm
Wössner 85 mm. 10.5:1 Pistons
S Cams or slightly more:????
Twin plug distributor
2.4 E heads with ported to 38 mm. intake and exhaust ported to 36 mm.
Standard valves - standard springs and titanium retainers.
MFI throttelbody ported to 38mm. bottom and 42 mm top
MFI plastik stacks from 2.4 T portet to 42 mm. bottom and 44 top,

This is what the engine we are building for my car (if I haven't been screwed out of the car) will look like, but mine engine is based on a very low ,mileage 3.2.

This is a "real" 2.5 ST engine.

For my hood, these are the Marchal lights from the Pentecost Toad Hall 911. Levon sent them to me for my project and is building the engine & tranny

And here is the same lights on the car there were last used on
