Hello Gents.

I am back.

Thanks for the heads up - Johan.

Thanks for all the kind comments, it helped me through.

To answer about this thread, PLEASE SHOW ME PORSCHE 911 ST it has always been my intention that everyone, even Magnus Walker should be able to put their comments, advise or photos etc. of their Porsche 911 ST, whether it was going to be a project, or the finished beautiful ST.

it was never intended only as my build thread, so all feel free to comment or put porsche 911 ST material, videos or images in this tread.

Johan: looks very good, nice flares, it seems that you will soon have it at paint and then reassembly. which I think is the best time. hold on, there's not far before it starts to look like a Porsche 911 ST. Keep posting.

Best Olsen

Looks like your project will be a beauty, Olsen...and I'm sure that you are enjoying every minute of the build process...as I did.

And just to share, "Estée" was even invited to a "50 years of the 911" show...

Hi
The grill is custom made frame from steel strip hand formed to the opening of the deck lid inset. Then we took bulk diamond shaped screen that was the same as the factory under screen of the 69-76 911. Painted the whole thing and voila !

its pretty labor intensive , but we have plans to get these laser cut by end of the year.

I will show you what I used to have:-) and still thinking of it, missing it:-)

How I bought it after graduating from University(as my first car ever):

Then a few years later after the rebuild:

Interior all lightweight and engine a 3.2 with carbs:

Final work:

Bringing the car to a new owner in Germany (and yes I should have put the car reverse on the trailer...):

I drive now a Carrera3.0, a very beautiful all standard original car, but the ST repro was just a brute, 900kg and 260Hp, that was true driving:-)

Keep up with your work, and never sell it!

Porsche 911 ST.

Petertav.

That is a beautiful car, especially like the color.

Very cool - Thanks.

I have had much progress with the car, but has not been followed up with posts on Pelican - sorry.

I am therefore proud to present a short film about DIY Porsche 911 2.3 ST - Done.

Please enjoy.

Cheers - Tommy
