Hard wiring radar detector

Tired of having a cord flopping around, I hard wired my Valentine One on to the hot side of the rear window heater fuse #7 (25 amp), so it would turn on and off with the ignition. Is this OK? I don't think it could overload the circuit, because the V1 drain is small, it draws current before the fuse to the window heater, and it has its own fuse. Could there be any problems with this arrangement?

Cool

I don't think there would be a problem if there is reasonable voltage drop w/heater on...I wired the V-1 directly to the ignition switch for a clean feed. I assume you fused the V-1 feed close to the power source....Ron
