I'm going to my first Auto-X tomorrow a.m. and trying to figure out the best way to warm the engine up, before I set the S.T.O.D. (slow time of the day)
At the track events I've been to, I would just start the motor a few minutes before the start of my run group, then take it easy for the first lap or two. I don't want to just start my engine, and then go wide open throttle. Thanks for the help! |

i like to make sure it's warm when i get there, i'll start it a few minutes before i grid and leave it run until my temp gets up. it almost always takes about 5 minutes to grid everyone anyway so that should be plenty of time for the engine to warm.
