In the two years I have had my '95 993, I have replaced the rear tires twice, averaging about 7000 miles. My dealer says, "the 993 eats rear tires for breakfast." But I notice the latest Pano had a letter from someone who said the toe-in was set to maximum by the factory on the rear wheels, and readjusting at least doubled the life of the tires. Anyone out there have experience with this? Thanks!

I always thought the LSD ate rear tires, luckily my '95 lacks the option LSD.
