webcam for cis

some where on some site ( which i can't find now ) i saw a set of webcams touted as the upgrade to a 2.7 when swapping to webers but leaving all the other items(pistons etc..) alone .

On this site i found wayne talking about 964 cams if leaving the cis on ...

what is a good combo of cams if we have a std 2.7 swapping to webers but all else staying stock for now ?? no smog issues , r-gruppe car so we can go as raw as we want , rsr exhust

I'll keep an eye on this thread as well.

I have a 2.7 CIS engine and a set of good webers on the bench. I may keep the CIS though.

Experts, give opinions on the best options for both keeping CIS and swapping to carbs.

I am under the impression that even with carbs the CIS pistons are still a limiting factor for anything beyond 964 or webcam 20/21 profiles because anything more aggressive would contact the funky shape of the CIS piston dome.

If there are any other options without going to JE's or similar I'd like to know as well
