911 Hi Beam Doesn't Work

With the headlights on the low beam works fine and the hi beam flasher works fine, but when I switch to hi beam driving position the headlights go dead. Fuses are good as indicated by the hi beam flasher working. Is there a headlight relay that I can't find or is that function part of the turn signal switch? Do I possibly have a bad t/s switch. Everything else controlled by the t/s switch works fine.

Thanks

It is your turn signal switch.
Replace or repair, there are numerous threads here describing this problem.
An advanced title search will yield you numerous lengthy reads.

there is a high beam relay ,always check that first.

Thanks Porwolf. Those contacts may be the problem. Thanks Lonewolf....where is the high beam relay located on the car. Couldn't find it in the Bentley. Mine is a 79 911.

I just fixed a problem on mine where the high beams would come on when the turn signal canceled. It was the contacts in the switch being too close. If they were too far it would also cause your problem.

I'll be checking those contacts. I was thinking that mine might be too far apart preventing the hi beam contacts from making contact.

Your year is not on a relay.

I'ts common for the plastic to melt and two contacts get stuck together ,
