Ever converted throttle linkage to a cable setup?
One thing that has always bothered me is the sluggish throttle linkage. Even when refurbished the mechanism makes for a dull throttle experience.
Has anyone ever tried to convert to a cable setup? |

Not sure what car you have, but I bought a cable and a bunch of other little items to try this when my motor was out, but didn't go any further when I realized it was going to be a pain starting the car with out the pull lever.

You could probably buy a 3.6 conversion throttle cable from Patrick Motorsports and make it work. It's a cable from the throttle pedal all the way to the throttle body on the engine.
However I was never unhappy with a stock throttle setup in good working condition. |
