Adding a 964 rear spoiler to my 79SC

Just starting to take a look at creating my wiring harness and when I cut the factory plug off and matched up against the wiring diagram for the Autoloc I'm left with two extra wires. One is a red one and the other is brown/red. Anyone know what they are for or if they are simply not used in this application? Any help would be appreciated.

I am following as I have a 964 decklid and wing for my 76

So, just looking at this again and I'm thinking the last two wires are for the little light on the inside of the deck lid to provide illumination to the engine bay. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Hi Mike!

I received my SC backdated with a working 964 wing, then stripped it off to install the original decklid.





The opening of the wing was driven by a power window switch placed in the position you see



I suggest you to not connect the wing engine to an unknown wire: Use a new wire driven directly from the fuse box and protect it with the same fuse of the power windows. Run the wire rear the center consolle then follow the wires from the handbrake to the engine compartment



I don't know if the original 964 wing fits in SC decklid. I changed the entire bonnet and had to modify the hinges. The two models close with different angles. Do you plan to install a 964 rear reflector? In this case you shall also cut and modify the rear cross.
