Years and models for OEM third light configurations 86 and up?
 

So 86 was the first year for the third light on US cars but for the 911 which models and configurations were there for the coupe?

The reason I ask is I have Carrera Coupe 84 and was looking to add the third light integrated with the glass. There seems to be two types for 86 and up coupes...the third light is at the top (assume for cars with a rear spoiler) and one with the third light at the bottom (assume for cars with no rear spoiler) Is this correct?

I know there are cab versions and targa versions with the ET light - not concerned with those.

The real question is will the glass with the light on the bottom work with a tail and is it visible?
