Porterfield R4-s Pads
Where to get these???
Topbrakes.com has good price. |
asked and answered in the same post?
I have a new set of R-4's (100 miles) for my 85 that I'd let go for $200 - shipped, if that's the direction you're going. (retail = $231.90 + shipping) (P.S. Porterfield has their own website.) Bill K |
One advantage of dealing directly with Porterfield is that they can custom make a pad for anything. It they don't have them you can send them a core and they will build a pad at a very reasonable price. About 10 years ago I had troubles finding a rebuilt emergency brake shoe for the 911 and new ones were ridiculously expensive. Sent over the old shoes and in a few days I had new custom pads for a great price.

I want the r4S pads and was just wanting to know where was the best place to get these.
Topbrakes.com has a good price and free shipping but I have never ordered from them and wanted to know if anybody else had. I just ordered direct from Porterfield, little bit more expensive, but it is the manufacturer . Thanks for the replies ! |
poc and nasa members get a discount at porterfield industries...

R4S and R4 are different pads. One is for street use, the other for track.
I get mine from Livermore Performance. |
I believe Dave at TRE Motorsports carries Porterfield products ...
Cheers ! Phil |
