My 100% ERP Rubber Bushed Suspension
Finally, I just completed my rear suspension. ERP swing arm and oem firmness trailing arm bushings. The trailing arm bushings were original, but the PO had installed Neatrix about 1 year prior to me purchasing the car five years ago. He had installed the bushings dry and believe it or not, the bushings released from the swing arm before the cover and the car, I'll consider myself lucky.
The ERP bushings were much firmer feeling than the neatrix and was able to compress the neatrix in my hand, but not the ERP bushing. I am hoping Chuck's bushings are more durable, but the neatrix looked pretty good after six years including the inside diameter. Last winter I did ERP A-arm bushings and strut mounts, and rebuilt the steering rack, ball joints and turbo tie rods. I think everyone know's ERP's stuff is high quality. Kits are complete, good directions, even included sandpaper, super glue and two long M10's you need to reinstall the t-bar cover. I still have a few more winter projects so won't be able to comment on the total package for a few months, but will be excited to get it out this spring. At 54, I start to feel pretty fatigued after 5-6 hours, especially when I do it two days in a row like this weekend. ![]() ![]()
