Intake manifold question, source??

In my 1971 T. I'm putting 2.5 and 2.7 parts together. 2.7 is rebuilt 8.5 rs nickies etc. to this I am adding E cams, ssi, sport muffler (stock with some internal work) 40 webers. Since my old 2.5 had 32 mm heads and new 2.7 has 35 mm intakes should I worru about my old zenith intake manifolds? which distributer? any other problems or suggestions greatly appreciated, thanks for help. best Henry

Can't answer about the Zeniths & distributor. Someone else will chime in though. You should just source a used intake manifold with 35mm intake bores or have one machined out to 35 mm. Leaving it at 32mm might mess the flow of the fuel mixture and it will rob your 2.7L of power at higher rpm's.

Henry,

I have a set of 40 x35 manifolds if you are interested.

If Henry is not interested I would love to know what you want for your manifolds, I am currently installing webers on a 2.7 and have 40 x 32 manifolds.

PM me your email address and I will email some pictures.
The only thing I'm looking for right now is mid70's engine surround tin.
