Brakes Draging
I recently rebuilt my S calipers and added new discs and pads. All is well except right brake seems to be dragging. The symptom is an intermittent squeak, squeak, squeak when driving the car at low - moderate speeds. The squeaking stops when the brakes are applied and stops for a while after, then starts again. Brakes are firm and effective.
I have oriented the pistons at the proper 20 degree position as per our sponsors advice. I have also tried compressing the pistons several times using the block of wood technique. Anyone out there have advice? |

Besides pulling them and doing it again....nope. Might want to check the bore for scoring...

How are the bushings in the pedal cluster?
Sometimes if the pedal bushings are shot the brake pedal might hang and keep pressure on the m/c.. Which causes a caliper or calipers to drag.. Check your pedals

Have the flexible lines on the calipers ever been changed. The rubber can look good on the outside, but internaly it could be collapsing and causing the caliper to drag.

Interior of old hoses can behave like a check valve, allowing free flow of fluid one way and restricted flow back. Good luck and keep us posted.
