R & R speedo face
 

I currently have the 85mph speedo face on my '80SC and would like to replace it with a 150mph face. What is involved with this conversion? Do I "simply" pull the needle and replace the face plate or will I need to recal ad/or re-gear it?

the only two I know of are Palo-Alto Speedometer and Hollywood .. they can take the 85 re face and re-calibrate it and get it going good as new .. there are other places around that do it but those are the only ones I know about ...

You can keep an eye out here and the auctions places and find a 150 around if you would rather ....

Refacing as a DIY i don't think is a possibility .........

Send it out to Hollywood Speedometer(or Palo Alto, whichever you choose). Tell them what you want and let them do it right.

While they have it open, have them replace the odometer gear. It WILL break and now would be a good time to have it done.
