Aftermarket gear shifter for 901 transmission

Hello, what aftermarket shifters work with the 901 transmission? I have read about Rennshift and Wevo shifters but was wondering if there is anything less expensive that can be used (such as an aftermarket VW shifter)? It's going in a modified car so the mounting to the tunnel isnt an issue (it just needs to be able to be able to shift through the 901 gear pattern).
