Q re SC coil support bracket
Why is it mounted this way , when the coil will bolt directly to the fan housing?
What else would bolt to the threads on the right? Might it be some way of reducing heat/vibration transfer??? I've removed mine , and maybe in the past there was an airpump or something attached? ![]()

Mine is like that so the AC condenser fan will close and not rub on the coil.

The air pump support/stabilizer bracket attaches to the top bolt on the fan housing closest to the camera. There is a small vibration damper close to the bolt which needs some room to clear the coil.
