Thanks HarryD
just got a pair of these
do I need to worry about other parts for this modifications (electric point of view) ?

I hope you got the E codes ones.

You should also install headlight replays to protect your turn signal stalk. Sadly, the kit offered here (or by Marcus Sucro) is not plug and play for our long noses. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/487832-relay-not-relay-h4-headlight-question.html#post4799737

If you are comfortable doing your own wiring, I posted an electrical diagram of how to wire them up for our cars here:

I'm debating : seeing where I'm going at night (!) and changing the original look of the car, or leaving it the way it is...

oh, one more thing : on pelican parts, I see kits at 260$, and also only lens for less money. what kit is needed ?

Luc -- your existing headlights look to me to have h4 beam patterns already. If you look on the face of the bulb is there a logo that says "E2" (or have a capitol E?) the "E" means they're european spec H4s -- or does it say "DOT" on the headlight face (DOT means they're US spec sealed beams) ? What brand are your headlights?

If you already have h4 assemblies, you may simply need to remove the bulbs and clean out the insides/reflectors (I used rubbing alcohol and rice, shook the mixture around and then rinsed out a few times) to get them bright and shiny.

I ended up installing relays and 80watt low/100watt high beam h4 bulbs when I replaced my original sealed beams with 7" round cibies -- if you already have h4 assemblies, you may simply want to upgrade bulbs and install relays?

For normal 55/60w bulbs? Relays are a good idea, but not absolutely required. Should be plug-n-play.
