yes. That looks like a Dansk 2in/1out sport muffler. For SSI's, you want a muffler with 2 inlets.

I'm looking at that same set up (SSIs and the Dansk 2-1)
Any members here gone that route, and would they do it again or go in another direction?

worth the coin?
How does it sound?
Can you DIY the install?

Hand Made

Nice piece. Welding bead looks like "a hand held" weld. Nothing like the welds on my SSI. Polishing probably from a flapper wheel in the shop. Prototype? Marketing sample? Custom 2 in; 1 out?

Thnx,
I had the SSI with a Dansk sport single outlet (with a big pipe)
Worth the coin is always relative. Sure, if you have enough coin, it is worth it!
Sounds awesome - real raspy and throaty and just screams at high rpm. Definitely still streetable.
DIY the install is no big job. The oil lines need changing, and the old exhaust may not come off easily, those are the only two things that may make it complicated.

I'll echo aigel's comments. I love my SSI's and Dansk 2in/1out. I don't regret installing that combo for a second. The install is definitely diy-able. Do your home work before attempting by reading everything you can on this site. You'll have to heat the heck out of your hardware to get it to work loose without snapping an exhaust stud. But it's an amazing upgrade for a 911.

Now that I look closer at that muffler, I thought it was a Dansk due to the curved sides, but now that I look closer at the welds at the inlets, it looks more like an M&K. But M&K's have flat sides, so it's not an M&K, so maybe it is a prototype SSI muffler.
