Dr Colorchip. I thought it worked well. Especially for many small chips.

I had what was much more that rock chips on my 88 911, knocked my bench grinder over on the front fender. I had a near tennis ball sized dent and 3 placed where the paint was gouged out down to the metal. I AINT A HAPPY CAMPER AT THIS TIME.

Took it to a painless dent repair guy who removed the dents to perfection.

Next I was Dr. color chip. I can't tell you that you could not see any damage, but you would have to take a close look to see any damage.
Sorry I did not have any close up of the paint repair, but as you can see It came out pretty good, and cost $150 total

Wow, that turned out great. I will have to give Dr. Color Chip a try.

the question is how close to the car do you have to be to see the repaired chip(s)

besides Dr. Colorchip, there is a laborious process involving the back end of a paper match, pigmented paint, clearcoat paint, various grits of sandpaper glued on the end of a pencil eraser and rubbing compunds...

the ultimate fix is to have the panel repainted all the way across...

You can see it from about 8 feet, the Dr color chip fills in the chip.

If you need perfect match for a perfect car, this aint it. But I needed a decent cheap repair and thats what I got. I did not have thousands to put into a paint job. I was happy with it and the new owner was also pleased with it, after I told him the story.

I've used Dr Colorchip on several cars. Good, not perfect, but good and certainly a way to get the color back and prevent any rust from setting in. Go for it!
