turbo motor install help on 73
i have been kicking around the idea of installing a 76 930 3.0 turbo into my car. what will be needed in order for it to work. will i need additional fuel pumps. i have a cis equiped car but dont really know much about how the cis fuel system on the turbo compares. what would be a good deal for a 76 motor with a k27 and later style intercooler be worth? the leakdown shows less than 5% all the way accross and was rebuilt 49000 miles ago with proper documentation. the motor is complete with exhaust. any help would be great!!!!!!!!

I put a 75 ROW 930 in my SC and I love it. It was a fair amount of work. The hardest part for me was getting the wiring in. I had to wire the 14 pin connector to match the motor. I put in a second fuel pump with a relay. I had to wire up an overboost protection circuit. I also built an intercooler for it and put a big base Carrera tail on. If I were you I would but the factory manuals and study the wiring differences.
I think the price of the motor would be around $6-7k. I've seen some 3.3L go for $8.5k. I paid $5k for mine but it needed a bunch of stuff. Go for it
