My 1967 911 Normale.

Heres is a link to YouTube of a quick video of my 1967 911 Normale. I love using the word Normale rather than Normal.

Also have a little longer video of a short warm up drive in my neighborhood in beautiful Sutalle Ga.

Hope you enjoy.

Bill

What a terrific sleeper. Love the car and the fact that it looks so stock from the outside.

The exhaust is Bursch. Both headers and coffee can exhaust.
They have a nice burble to them. I figured I had enough hp to add 50 pounds of dynamat in the back to keep the decibles inside tolerable. Have heard from friends and foes that it's very loud outside.

So far Cherokee's finest have been nice to me.

That's just an awesome build you have there, as others have mentioned - the ultimate sleeper!

She sure must put a smile on your face every time you take her out.

I bet with Sweetwater road being at the end of your driveway, there's not a lot of resistance when the spousal unit asks you to go pick up milk...

Sweet looking (and sounding) car.

Great video of the car in action! How did you mount the camera, suction cup on the hood. One minor suggestion. Great music, but I would make the fantastic engine sound more prominent and tone down the volume of the music. Also, what type of camera did you use, GO PRO HERO? Nice job!

Bill,

Very, very nice. Is there a reason you did not use the stock 3.6 fuel injection?
What shade of silver is your car ?

Thanks

Here is a video I took of the engine running. As you can hear no music background and pretty good throttle response. You can probably guess why I have nearly 50 pounds of dynamat in the cabin.

1967 Hotrod 3.6 Engine - YouTube

To answer a few questions:
Kev...........the nearest milk is at a bait shop about 4 miles away. It's a full 12
miles to get to a decent grocery store. All nice roads most of which has a 55 speed limit that gets little attention from the local Gendarmes.

Matt........The camera is my Iphone 4S
This was my first and to date only time I used Movie Maker
I mase a Rube Goldbard suction mount using a suction mount from a Garmin some rubber bands and duct tape to hold the phone
The Howling Wolf was the first song in my music library that had the same length as the video approximately

Herman I wanted something easy to maintain. Once the PMOs and Crank trigger are set right and locked the only maintenace is fluids and plugs. The valves are hydraulic..............and I like the old style look.

Great job with the video! I have a Gopro HD with a suction cup mount that I plan on using as soon as I get my 76 targa running. Again, that engine sounds so sweet you should turn the volume down on the music track if you know how to do it.
