wheel bearing packer source

I'd like to install my new slotted rotors this weekend along with some new bearings. I've been looking for a decent but still cheap wheel bearing packer. I've found an expensive one at napa but over $100 seems like a lot for a simple tool. I'd prefer not to use the palm method if I can help it. Anyone know a source for a simple packer?

If you have a grease gun, you can pick up one of those inexpensive packers at Harbor Frieght. I think I paid $10-12 for mine.

You put the bearing in, and pump grease through the zert fitting.

Well there's the latex glove on your hand and patience tool... Always worked for me...

Agree with the manual method. I've been doing it for years. It's a little messy, but I think my car appreciates the human touch.

Any of the major auto parts stores (e.g. Pep Boys, Kragen) should sell a simple bearing packer for less than $10.00. Here's a pic of one I randomly found:



Of course, latex gloves and patience are even cheaper.
