Body shop recommendations Sacramento, CA?

Last night some inattentive and careless A-HOLE in a Toyota Camry tried a last second freeway exit causing a Jeep Cherokee to slam into the side of my once-beautiful BMW 330 coupe. As part of the greiving process I must now gather repair estimates from local body shops, and the only people I trust for an honest recommendation are you fellow car lovers. So...any Sacramento or even Bay Area body shops you would trust your car to? I haven't heard from the insurance people yet and they may total the car but I'm trying to do my homework rather than sit in my garage and The only positive thing I can say here is that it wasn't my Porsche...

Walt Stickel down in South Sac did a solid job painting some loose items off my 930 and even did one of the parts three times as they weren't happy with the finish. Walt apparently was factory trained in Germany at some point so I imagine they could do a solid job.

Bertolucci's in Midtown has been around since 1948 and I have seen some pretty solid work from them as well. I poked around their shop during their annual car show a few years back and it looked like they were doing some fairly complex repairs with some pretty modern equipment.

Good luck and sucks that the crappy Sac drivers claimed another hit.

Sherm's in Rancho Cordova. Hands down. Porsche friendly too.

Stay away from Berto's. Rip-off, subpar work.

Sherm's!
