Bilstein vs Boge again
 

Sorry if this has been covered to death but a search does not answer my simple question

I have a 74 targa and I want to keep the factory ride characteristics. If I put Bilstein heavy duties in all round will the car feel significantly harder? should I just stick with Boges and save some money? tnx all

I had Bilstein HDs on my SC and I now have Boges on my Carrera. The Boges do give a smoother ride if that's what you're looking for. If you like the ride you have now stick with what you've got.

I just replaced my rears on my 73 targa with Koni Gas Sports, for me a touch too hard for a Targa. I liked my red Koni's better. You can still get original type Koni's which are adjustable and probably what I would do if I could have a do over.
