I am not interested in fitting a 996+ steering wheel, just one that fits that hub. This is the steering wheel I adore! made by FVD / Raid.

The pictures are of a 993 right? Have you asked FVD if they have a compatible hub?

Yes I have, they said that they don't have a hub to fit 964/993 wheels on an earlier 911.

Actually, the basic, three spoke 996 steering wheel (no buttons or anything) might not look too bad in an SC or earlier Carrera...

My point exactly, I would not mind a 996 3-spoke steering wheel on mine, its made to look like a 964 turbo anyway, the interior has a 964 dash etc, I really would like a updated chunky steering wheel.
