Alignment ???
I have a wicked pull to the right when I brake (hard) from any speed above 40 MPH.
All brakes have been rebuilt (no seized pistons) and, although the alignment will be done this coming Saturday, the car tracks very straight when on the highway. Any tips on where to look for the potential cause of this problem ? Thanks in advance. Jim |

It must be something in the front brakes and not the alignment causing this. Check the lines for blockage and air, or perhaps swap the calipers from one side to the other and see if the pulling follows the caliper.

No, no lock up.
I only had the fron brakes redone as the rears were just rebuilt last year. Hence we only bled the front brakes. Jim |

Bleed all of the brakes. Did you change the rubber brake lines?

It is probably in the brakes, but it could also be in the corner balance.
If one front wheel is not adjusted to the right height when compared the other front wheel, it can do funny things to the way the car handles under hard braking and acceleration. I would think that it would have to be drastically out of adjustment to make this much difference, but if nothing else shows up....... |

Consensus seems to be in bleeding the entire system, so that will be step one.
