Porsche Specialist Tampa Area ?

Hello Pelicans,

Can anyone recommend an excellent Porsche specialist in the Tampa Florida area ? I am located in Tarpon Springs and need to have a couple things checked before I take a long trip to the west coast. Thank you in advance.

Vortex in tampa - or germantech in largo or european performance in st. petersburg.

Carlos is at the dealer in St. Petersburg Bert Smith - probably one of the best in the area.

here are a few that I know of seem ok but you need to do due diligence..
German Specialties Inc. 813-818-0993 has web site, heard nothing but good things.
C2 Design ask for Chris 813-223-3744 never used him, my buddy has an M5 that he uses him for and swears by him ..not at him..lol
Of course Dave White Racing on west Hillsborough although I dont know if he stills does any retail type repair work at any rate a great resource.. good luck.

+1 for Carlos at St. Pete Dealership...he worked on my 911 and 928 and was always out at Sebring with the PCA...none finer...

Talked to Carlos last night & he is coming by my house tonight with some Goodies. If you want someone that knows there $hit, you can't go wrong with him and you have a Dealership behind him - Labor Rates are almost the same between the Dealers & Indies.

Dave White sold out a few years ago & the shop is now called Vortex. I'd skip them, but one of their best guys ( Kenny) opened up a Shop on Anderson Road just South of Waters

germantech in Largo is Good - VG experienced Techs
