Convertible mods for aftermarket clam shell?
 

Hi- I know this is a long shot but.......

I'm adding an aftermarket (speedster style) clam shell to my 911 wide body conversion. Most of us know that he factory top will not fit under this mechanism. Has anyone modified a convertible top to fit under the clam shell?

I am considering doing simple top mod for emergency rain shower purposes. Maybe fabricate a light weight frame that would connect to the front window frame and maybe tuck under the edge of the rear clam shell.

Thoughts?
