springy early seat fix/firm-up

I've never liked the pre-74 stock seats. they're too springy, like a vw. on a spirited drive the other day both my daughter and I felt carsick from bouncing up and down all the time. after some thought I came up with a solution. I pulled back the seatpad cover front and back retaining strips. as you can see it's not surprising they're springy, that's all that's in there. I went to wally-world and bought some bags of shredded poly foam. and started stuffing. working it in by hand and shaking/pounding the seat to work the chunks in. stuffed them full and re-installed the keeper strips. MUCH better. nice and firm and I'm sitting about 3 inches higher. a total of 12 dollars worth of foam and an hour of my time.
