Fuel Pressure Regulator Bottom Nut
I have a 1986 911 3.2. Does anyone know the size of the bottom nut that holds the fuel pressure regulator on and the side connections?
It is a really tight space and I am not having much luck with fitting a wrench or crow's foot on that bottom nut. Thanks as always for your advisement! Last edited by Greg Greer; 09-21-2023 at 08:26 AM.. |

Take the whole bracket off, then deal with the nut.

Fuel Pressure Regulator Bottom Nut
Hi Jon,
Where and how does this bracket attach back there? What sizes are these bracket nuts/bolts? Thanks so much for your hard won knowledge! |

Other than the fuel lines, there are two 6mm bolts on the bottom of #3 runner facing left and one 6mm bolt holding the main fuel line tab to the bracket. The whole setup is a PITA cluster fuch. Take the blower motor off for better access.

Fuel Pressure Regulator Bottom Nut
Thanks John,
I have the blower motor and it's air shrouds off. Now you have dialed me in for my first take. On another note, we have a Porsche 356 East Coast Holiday coming into town here in Boone, NC. I really hope to see some of these little machines. The last time we had this many 356's in Boone was about 91' or 92'. Seeing these cars will hopefully get me motivated! |
