Fibrenew.com - Any Reviews?

Does anyone have any experience with Fibrenew.com for leather and vinyl repair to dashes and seats?

They have outlets across the US and Canada, wanted first hand review before I let him near my dash.

I have one crack that they claim to be able to fix.

It really will depend on the applicator. His experience and expertise will ultimately come through in the end. It may or may not turn out well. If you are looking to have them patch small cracks then they will do the job but as for repairing the dash finish forget it. The finishing job they did on my dash on the 3 or 4 major cracks was still noticed afterwards. The dash repair finish was so obvious I didn't put it back in the car. Remember that spray on product for covering up a guy's bald spot? That is what I was left with. I sent the dash down to George at AIRMOTORSPORTS and he did a great job. If you want pic's of George's work I can provide them when I put the car on the road this weekend.
Save your cash, go with an expert and a P-car guy.
Good Luck

The guy I spoke to was honest and said that if I want perfection get a new dash, I would assume that it would look better than the crack that is there now, just curious on other experiences with this company's method of repair.

Have a great guy in London, has done a dash in an old mustang I have and arm rest in an old Mercedes for my brother. He does many repairs for Steve Plunkett, (fleetwood farms) cadillac collector

I did an article on a restored 911 a couple of years back that had a mildly cracked dash that had been repaired by Fibrenew. The owner seemed to be completely happy with the results, and the dash looked great. The company is mentioned in the article near the bottom of the page in this online version of it:

Excellence :: Mild Mod : 1971 911T Mild Mod : page 3
