OK, so I'm lazy. My only excuse is excessive amounts of carpentry.

Carpool to California Speedway on 18th?
As long as you have the Phoenix groups attention, is there anyone interested in carpooling it to the Pelican Swap Meet on the 18th from Phoenix? Looks like a 5 hour drive...
Joe

DANG! We're going to San Diego a few days after that! My wife is flying the weekend of the event so no chance I could go.
OK Aaron, you PhotoShopped my head onto the roof of Joe's car, but didn't remove the yellow Viper hood from the photo? What's up with that? |

Lee,
Drive down in a convoy with us and then head South to San Diego and meet her there! She can non rev over to the coast. Would be nice if we could find someone with a large American car and find three or four of us in the area to go and split costs. Joe

I'm half tempted to drive my 911 there. Pretty boring drive though. BTW, the flyer says that California Speedway is 60 miles EAST of Palm Springs. That must be an error. Maybe 60 miles WEST.

We're heading over to take our daughter to Sea World. After our last non rev experience we decided to drive! It's no fun when you tell a 2 year old, "There's our airplane - we'll get on in just a minute." And then find out the flight is overbooked and the next one leaves in 2.5 hours!

Can't go guys, I have other commitments that weekend. And, yes Mark, California speedway is built on the old Kaiser steel plant site in Fontana, 60 miles west of Palm Springs, about 40 miles east of LA. I used to live in that area and remember the old Ontario speedway.

What?!?!

hmm,
I have a minivan. I would love go. I could seat 4-5 adults with the back area open for goodies to bring home. Not sure I could do the whole enchilada. Lets elaborate on options for a shorter stay.

Don,
Would love to do Saturday, listen to Bruce Anderson and look over the parts then head home late that night or Sunday. Agreed that the whole weekend is not really needed on my end either... Joe
