R Window detail
 
The March/April edition of Classic Porsche published several pics of the rear quarter windows on a 1967 R. My question is specifically about the attached louvre cover...there are the normal louvers, but there is also a plexi "catch" attached on the underside of the louvers on the outside. Is that original and wouldnt it just catch rainwater and channel it inside the car?

The catch tray is on the inside.

That would make sense, but I swear from the pics it looks like its on the outside.
