Steering wheel hub swap

I have an extended hub on my 87 Carrera steering wheel. I have a standard hub wheel as a backup. Is it possible to swap the hubs? The four retaining bolts are round/slotless heads and the nuts are round as well. Anyone with experience with doing this?
Best Regards,
Chris

Done this a couple times now. Center punch and Drilled the four rivets out and replaced them with 1/4" NF bolts and nylon locking nuts. Bolts can't extend too far past the nuts because the rear cover for the steering wheel won't go back on. I just trimmed the bolts down, recall using 1" but 3/4" might be perfect.

Those are rivets? They will punch out?

Nope, won't punch out, you need to drill them. Drill the rounded head end, center punch first so you start in the middle of the head, then 1/8" then 3/16 then 1/4. Drill about 3/8" deep.
