3.6 conversion flywheel
I am in process of re placing my vario intake with a set of PMO 50 carbs and decided to go with XDI2 direct ignition unit.
The engine is a 993 3.6 mated to a 915 transmission. Today I tried to fire up the engine for the firt time and wanted to program the XDI unit. Since I am using the factory flywheel crank sensor I need to find out how many teethes my conversion flywheel actually has. My flywheel is from Timmins and was installed few years ago when the conversion was done. Does anybody know by chance how many teeth the conversion flywheel 3.6 to a 915 tranny has? |

Factory flywheels with Motronic use 60 minus 2 tooth count.

Thanks Scotty, I know the stock 3.6 has 60-2 tooth count but I am not sure if the conversion flywheel has the same number.

I know the Patrick conversion has 60-2, not familiar with Timmons....but if your engine was running with Motronic ECU it has to be 60-2.
