Help me identify these wheels

Someone told me these are supposed to be valuable. Any truth?
Got them on a 70 Sunroof coupe I bought
Thanks

those are real fuchs however someone has either polished or chromed them, which most people don't like that look(me included)

You don't show pics of size markings but they appear to be 7" if so they not worth much

They are marked 7's and 8's. Someone was trying to tell me they had more value than a few hundred so I'm glad to know they are average. I agree with you plumb, I don't like the high polish. I think since they are not chrome they can be knocked back to a normal finish. Does that compute or are they forever shiny.

if chromed, then the structural integrity of the wheel may be compromised

yes if they are just polished they can be put back to original however to go original you would have to send them out have lips anodized again and I hear that's not cheap

You say they are marked 7 and 8....are they 15" or 16"?

you should see marking 7J x 15 or 16

I have the same wheels on my 88 Carrera:

911 361 020 41 7Jx15 ET23.3
911 361 020 42 8Jx15 ET10.6

If they were pristine and original finish they might be worth $800-900. Mine are nice and original but not pristine.
