Fuel pressure readings 86 Carrera

I just checked my fuel pressure with my new gauge and found the following readings:
-40 psi with engine off and 30/87b jumpered
-34 psi with engine idling
-40 psi with fuel regulator hose removed
I know Bentley states 36 psi with engine off, 29 psi with engine running and 33-39 psi with vacuum hose removed from regulator.

Are my fuel pressure readings off enough to be a concern?

Is your new guage calibrated with a known pressure? Wouldn't worry about it.

I purchased the pressure gauge from a specialty tool company that makes Porsche tools. I'm assuming since it is new it should be accurate.

I wouldn't worry about it if your O2 sensor is healthy. You might re-set idle valve, and check your vac line to the fpr. Re-check CO% if you have an air fuel gauge.
