Another use for the HF multi-tool.

Removing spring plate bushings!

I bought the HF Multi-tool to remove the undercoating and it worked great. Mine came with a flat serrated blade that works even better than the smooth one.

So last week as I was struggling to remove the 35 year old rock hard rubber bushings I remembered how well the multitool cut the undercoating without cutting metal and I figured I'd give it shot. It worked perfect. The serrated blade cut through the rubber like butter. I cut the bushing off in several chunks and cleaned up with a wire cup on the grinder. Both spring plates clean and ready for the plater in 20min max. without the nasty burning rubber stench of most other methods

and the pics to prove it.

THANKS!
