Possible PPI Needed In New Jersey

Hi Guys

So far this forum has been a great help. I think I may have found my car in the New Jersey area. Can anyone give a recommendation for a PPI in the Newark, NJ area?

Thanks in advance for the help!
Josh

Have you reached out to the PCA Shattenbaum group?

Look for Dan Petchel. Good guy. Very savvy. PM me for details.

Damn when I read the title I thought this was another Pleco Thread...LOL:eek:

Good luck to you finding the right car...seems the NJ area has lot of cars and fellow Pelicans

Haha... No not another Pleco thread. I have read that thread and vowed not to be another Pleco (no offense Pleco)... I actually called Dan Petchel and spoke with him. He was very helpful. He also gave me Gene's number, as Gene is much closer. We'll see how it works out.

Thanks again, guys!
Josh

Powertech in Rockaway, NJ (near the geographic center of Northern NJ, about 30 minutes west of Newark).

PowerTech

Mike & Keith are very knowledgeable and helpful. Also heavily involved in NNJR PCA.

You mention the Newark, NJ area - The car isn't actually in Newark, is it? If so, you are a far braver man than I.

I'm actually looking at a car in Bloomfield, NJ. It's an black '85 Targa with original paint and a nice interior, but it's high mileage. It's had some money spent on it mechanically, but I'm not sure it's ever had the top end or transmission rebuilt. If so, it may be a dealbreaker. The price is right, but I'm guessing that's why it's right....

Just looked at it on CL and it looks sweet and well taken care of!!

I would not let that mileage scare you at all, these cars are made to be driven

BTW that car is my cars twin (except my interior is tan)
