Saw some 911s at the auto auction parking lot today

Just saw these cars parked at the Montana auto auction this week.
The yellow 911 has steel ST flares.
Carmel car seems to be an early 911 with 4 hole horn grills.
Not sure if they will be going through the auction.
No one there knew for sure what was going on with them.

Checked with them again and they are going to auction next week.
The butterscotch is a 65 911 according to the manager.
And the other is an old race car that is a 68 or 69 911.
They hardly ever have any old foreign cars run through this auction.
Might pick up a good deal.

I have had some people ask about the auction company.
It is either the Montana Auto Auction or Billings Auto Auction.
They most likely have a website for remote bidding. Haven't checked myself yet.

I don't have the funds to buy it but someone should or work with me to go bid on it in person for them.
I am willing to work with someone if they cut me in on the deal.
thanks

A friend of mine made a deal on the car this morning.

We will let everyone know what is going on after he has it tied up.

thanks

Do you have pics available?
Did your friend bought it for himself or is he planning for a resale?

I have had inquiries about the car.
He will market it when he is ready and you can respond to his ads.
I will not have anything to do with selling the car.

My only question is/was if he sold it to a collector or a dealer who will resell it again.

Always was under the impression that on bulletin boards like this people try to help each other, what else is the point you putting this message here?

This thread is useless, it serves no point....maybe he learned not to "dangle the carrot" next time. Tim
