Finally getting somewhere!
So after tearing my engine out and finding all the flaws from motormeister my life has finally gotten to a point where I can finally start back on it. Too much turmoil and changing of employment made me put the project on hold but now I am finally getting started.
Have case going to the Ollies for work. Today I got my camshafts from Henry at Supertec. They are great! Henry gave me a good deal and honest service. Can't beat that. Henry: Thanks for the S cams, expect me to ship out some rockers to you soon for refurb. as your service is top-notch. To make today even better, the UPS guy that delivered them gave me a line on a 914 near me (his father owns it). It feels like Christmas... Jingle Bells... Jingle Bells....

Wow Docrodg - I don't remember all the details from your story, but you seem to be on the right track now. You've gone from having all the wrong people working on your car, to all the right people. I hope you finally have a great experience with your engine rebuild.
