What engine are you installing? The mounts are the same for both 911 and 930 gearboxes.

Unless the engine is turbocharged or otherwise modded it will not like a 4speed as the gears will be way wrong.

What is your final goal with this car? Track?Street?

By "widebody wheels", what do you mean?

Pretty sure the 930 and 915 use different mounts and the G50 is not the same , but I believe that the G50 and G52 may use the same mount as the only difference in those cases is the dif case. Interesting project may require some fabrication.

You're right Dan.

The mounts are different. I was focusing more on how the setup, depending on what the owner's intentions are, would be not so good.

I think user DSPTurtle has done this modifcation to a narrow body.

single turbo t66(gt45/66mm)5 with a t4 exhaust flange. 2.5 inch charge tubes custom intake dual injectors. headers... all the normal stuff and some. running 034motorsport stand alone ecu.
tub is gutted tastefully. as i still have carpet. and nice seats. all in all it is being built to blow the doors off a few vette lovers in my area..
All of the un-needed things are gone. > headlight sprayers and such haha!
"stock sucks" is my mind set. i love the stockers but not for me. as for the wide body wheels question. a good friend of mine is a porsche nut like myself and has a shop full of 930 parts.
i have the bbs classic lace wheels off his 82 930.
