Front wheel irregular vibration

Have an infrequent, irregular vibration-humming noise, in my front wheels, felt through the steering wheel, noticeable when doing 30-40 mph. If I tap my brakes lightly, the vibration-noise stops immediately. It happens so infrequently that I tend to forget about it. Could this be a wheel bearing problem starting up? Would appreciate any leads. Thanls guys.SmileWavy

This may not be your problem but I developed a very high-frequency vibration in the steering wheel after I bent one of the Rear Wheels. I'm not sure how this translated into the steering wheel but when I got a new rim, the vibration went away.......Strange.
