Cold Start Valve - Testing
 

I'm going test my fuel pressures this weekend.

However, I suspect that my cold start injector or regular injectors are leaking or not shutting off. Basically, when the car is warm (like stopping at a gas station), startup behaves like the car is flooded. I have recently replaced the check valve and accumulator.

my friend has suggested unplugging the cold start (temporarily). I'm thinking that this would have no effect if the injector is leaking - would it not still leak even if unplugged. Or, could the thermal sensor be causing it to stick on?

Thanks for any responses - this is mostly for my own education on the CIS and my plan is to follow the correct steps of testing pressures and then other items.

The CSV uses starter voltage only, WHEN allowed by the thermo-time switch.

I doubt very much that the csv is leaking, or the injectors really. You need to get a test gauge on there and find out where the residual pressure is escaping. A lot of time it's this little o-ring in the fuel distributor.
