Leland could use some support

Guys, many of you must have missed his post on the Tranny rebuild string. And that's Lee being himself...he wouldn't start a string on this. Leland's father has been diagnosed with brain cancer. As we know, Leland has a stong sense of family...but, in some weird way, I feel that we're an extended family for him...So Lee, we're all saddened by this news, and offer our support...right guys?

Yes, it's an understatment to say that's not good news. Lee, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your father.

I do not know Leland, but I have see his name mentioned and on some of the threads (I'm pretty new to this board). But, I will also say a prayer for him, his family & friends. My father passed away from cancer 10 yrs ago, so I know this is probably an emotional time for them all.

Leland, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Tell your father to get better for me.

Leland, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I remember just a few weeks ago on another thread Lee posting a pic of him and his dad together in a garage. Cool pic. Maybe someone could find it and post it here. My thoughts go out to both Lee and his dad.

pbs911 05-02-2002 10:55 AM

Leland, my best wishes are with you and your family.

Leland,

My clan's thoughts are with you and yours. If there's anything us Arizonians can do for you at all, please let us know.

Leland with your strong family, I am sure you will weather this storm. I will pray for you and your father.

Thank you very much for the support guys. It truely means allot.
I'll keep you all posted. And as far as the Roundup is concerned... i've found a way to go home before so it will not interfere with the event in B.C.

Thanks again,
Lee

A very trying time Leland, but you'll come through a stronger person, believe me.............

Best wishes to you and your family.........

Hope things go well with your dad. I lost my mom 2 months ago after a long battle with Parkinsons and Leukemia. Hopefully your situation will work out for the best. Though I don't understand the why and wherefore, it seems that everything happens for a reason. Peace and strength be with you and your family.

Yeah, hopefully the treatments will work. Give science and the medical community a shot at it and the results can be surprisingly good nowadays.

Sucks--'cause Leland's still a pup.

Leland - my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Leland, So sorry to hear this; your dad must be a great guy to have raised a son as nice as you. I am sure that this is a time when you will pull in tight together as a family, and of course we are one of your other families over here. Have faith and keep us posted,

Kevin Stewart 05-02-2002 07:10 PM

Wishing you and your family well Leland, Kevin

Leland...my father passed on several years ago.
My belief is ... Quality, not quantity.
I know my father lived a full and happy life, he was a great dad to me and my siblings.
When the time comes for your father to move on...think of the happy times you shared...and the love he leaves behind.
See you at the Roundup.
Bob

Lee from a faithful member of the SCWDP...I'm sure your dad is a proud man and even more proud to have a son like you. My wishes for the best and a ray of sunshine during this trying time. The community you are a part of both here and as a "Blue Suiter" will be with you every step of the way.
