Removing Steering Wheel - Any "while you're in there" items?

Guys,

I've removed my steering wheel as it's time to restitch it. Should I be replacing any bushings or service anything else while the wheel is off? I think it's the first time it's been removed in 25 years!

Thanks!

Search for lelands bushing; grease copper horn ring if your car has one. If you want to change out any bulbs on the tach, etc, now is the time to do it.

Clean all the contacts on the turn signal, light switches and cruse control (if equipped)

Fuse.

If not already fused, I would certainly fuse the dash lights.
