What's my ride height?

Hello everyone.

I need to readjust the suspension ride height on my (1967) 911, but can't find the proper ride-height measurements anywhere! I've got standard 15 inch steel wheels.

Does anyone know where to find the numbers, or what they are? If so, thanks a ton!

I set my ride hieght according to B. Anderson's book. 25" rear, and 25.5 in the front. Measured from ground to center of wheel arch (vertical line through center cap of wheel).

At this hieght the rear suspension must be firm so that the rear of the car does not squat on the sidewall (depends on tire size of course)

ride height adjustment

Remember that as you change your ride heights, you are jacking weight on the chassis and also effecting your alignment settings.

You should do this in conjunction with a 4-wheel alignment and cornerbalance for optimal performance.

Of course if you are just making minor adjustments and don't drive the car at the limit much, it probably doesn't matter...
